Business Development Position Available
The Company Cards Group is a ‘One Stop Shop’ for all print finishing and plastic card requirements. In 2017 we proudly celebrated the 20th anniversary of our parent company ‘Company Cards’.
In 2016, building on our foundation as one of the UK’s leading plastic card manufacturers, we expanded our purpose built factory in St Helens to accommodate our newly acquired print finishing department- Finishing Touch. Now with an onsite staff of 40 ‘The Company Cards Group’ consists of 4 divisions:
Company Cards Ltd. Leading the way in the development of high quality, full colour, digitally printed plastic cards, custom made for a variety of uses. Our most popular products include Access Control Cards, Loyalty & Membership Cards, Event Passes and Identification Cards.
Finishing Touch specialise in a range of print finishing services, ranging from screen printing, lamination, spot UV, perfect binding, large format and die cutting. With 35 years of experience within the industry there is wealth of knowledge and expertise here available to our clients.
6 Colour Digital is the digital print division of the group. Operating 2 HP Indigo and 2 Konica Minolta presses we provide a wide range of printed products. From posters, and leaflets to booklets and stationary.
The Plastic Card Factory is our online ‘Plastic ID Card’ facility. Here clients can order their short run ID cards through our custom built automated system.
After a very successful 2016 we are eager to expand our highly motivated Sales and Business Development Team. As part of our team you will be liaising with clients daily, finding suitable solutions for their plastic card and print finishing requirements, negotiating terms and closing orders. You will also be working alongside other departments within the company to ensure the smooth production of your client’s orders and delivery to schedule. You may also be required to assist in trying to obtain new business, working alongside marketing pursuing prospects.
About the Role of Sales and Business Development:
You will be required to follow up warm leads generated by our In-house Marketing Department.
Take new accounts under your belt and build your own client database.
Develop a good working relationship with your accounts and prospective clients.
Process orders and oversee the production process of your accounts.
To develop a good knowledge of the printing / print finishing / plastic card industry.
Contribute fresh ideas to assist with marketing campaigns.
Perform outbound calls.
Be available to represent The Company Cards Group at Trade Shows and Events in the UK and possibly Europe.
We are looking for a proactive individual who is driven to achieve results.
Experience with customer interaction would be beneficial.
Sales & Customer Service skills.
Ability to work on your own but also as part of a team.
Proficient telephone etiquette.
Basic computer skills, training will be given on all software and programmes to be used.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 40 hours per week (8 hrs 1 Hour Lunch)
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays
